Details of a quick look around...

Woad  is cultivated to make indigo dye. I am growing this bunch for the seed.

The many stems of woad flowers are bundled together and tied to a stake. This specimen stands near two metres high, goes well with the wormwood and the sage.

Swiss Chard allowed to set seed.

Just keeping an eye...

Meadowsweet  flowers. The plants are establishing well, they hope to impress you later.

Recent heavy rain was causing my Garlic to bolt. the excess humidity brought mildew with it. Limiting damage, I have opted to lift it prematurely and dry the plants on the stone wall. The runner beans have started climbing their support.

Just popping art...
