It keeps me off the streets. Our freedom works better at home. No gas no rubber bullets or filthy coloured smoke. No masks or jabs required.. Job for life, a labour of love.

 We can't stop now...

Salvaging mineral. The ground was tractored almost to extinction. What little soil was left, less than one foot deep, has been scraped of the rock substrate . Most of the reclaimed soil was deposited behind the blue bins. I don't want to get too excited, but I am looking forward to the next phase of the greenhouse project. You can give us a hand if you like. Feel free, we do...

Squash seems content with it's new home. That's Swiss Chard behind the squash, the plant will be pulled out when the seeds are ripe.

Thickening up nicely, Red and white flowering climbing beans just emerging. White climbers in another bed showing first flowers. The blue flowering climbers  haven't appeared yet. They were last to be sown.

The Coming Food Shortage: What Happens Next (And What To Do)

Welcome to the unmasked and ever changing face of normalcy... Our choiceless natural option.

Every home needs one.

.
Giving freely, joy to share... The pleasure of a moment.

Progress is a strangely shaped beast.

We haven't needed to use much metered water so far this year. The ground is holding humidity well.

This view of "Pretty Green" stopped me for a photo op...

Next day... progress report,running fast.

How it is needs no imagination.

Easy enough to take  pictures, but what do I write? Time wasted thinking in words...

I was about to say something, then I saw this...

It sez it better.

Neither yellow with a streak of blue, nor blue with a streak of yellow... We are not selling soap.

"Green" is a different colour where we come from.

Cultivating a better understanding of the intended meaning.Ecological awareness.

My kind of "Green uprising"...

Charming cameos of delight at every turn.

Fast and Furious...The leaders have reached two and a half metres already. This will soon be a mass of flower.

Never a Normal Season...

Breathing medical grade Oxygen  straight from the source. Anne-Sophie, busy pulling weeds.

_
The first sunflower, two young spindly Calendula attempting to compete.

The poppy seed pods will be dried and made available for flower arrangers.

Stay calm... St. John's Wort, (Hypericum).

The real "Green",not just blue with a streak of yellow.  Our little Walnut tree is looking happy.

Progress report, the runner beans accelerating fast.

The Stone marks a point in Time. It's still got a way to travel.

Cucumber and Runner Beans, good companions.

 Berry delicious... the first Redcurrants.

I only know this as "Tibetan Honeysuckle". The berries when ripe are sweet with a "chocolaty" scent. We are told that it may be toxic to dogs.I reckon it's because they never know when to stop guzzling.

Eight Lies The Narcissist Wants You To Believe

When times were good, they called us "Poor". Now their lives are in economic crisis, they call us "Rich".

Guess what... There's a kilo of strawberries turning to jam in the kitchen.

Self seeded Cosmos. Easy to pull out where they are not wanted. That's newly emerged beetroot in the box.

The Blackcurrant cuttings have taken well. We'll move them in the Autumn to their permanent positions.

Onions.

Multi Cultural Diversity... Lettuce, Nastursiums, Coriander and Runner Beans.

Axanthus and Saxifrage...moody colours

The right direction for a welcome cuppa.

Lock downs and Curfews won't stop the Garden Greens from Growing...

Thornless Blackberry now a towering two and a half metres. The fruit is swelling fast.

Lavender about to flower, to my senses, no less beautiful and aromatic in the green.

This little patch newly mulched with straw, contains Coriander Lettuce, Radish,a Zuccini Squash, Garlic and Tomato plants. It likes to keep busy.

Most of this Parsley was cut down today, found itself a welcome place as a dinner guest in a vegetable dahl. Some flowers will be allowed to grow for a small harvest of seed.

In between the drizzle and the gusts of storm force winds... Calm.

The naturalised plants are flowering early. Scarlet Emperor, a truly great bean

.
Beyond the Sweet Williams, onions are thriving a few are bolting, we'll eat them first.

One Jumbo Garlic allowed to go to seed.More from this later...

Bee Borage, a favourite with many pollinating insects. A welcome weed in our garden.

It's getting better all the time...

A post card from heaven; the Nigella (Love in a Mist), is about to become a source of "Black Seed".

Curry plant recovering it's composure after the rain.

An Alpine Sedum I think. Seems to like subsoil and rock dust.

Years of work , just for a photo?

Last World realism...Every day, a new beginning.

"All aboard..."
