On a day when Summer made sense...

Sweet Williams..

.
Pink Poppies and White Horehound.

Easy Peasy

Kale seed ripening in their pods. I will harvest the plant today and finish drying. Hundred of thousands of seeds from one plant.  A good return with very little effort. Easy to grow , delicious.

Saxifrage about to burst with yellow flower.

The Runnerbeans are taking to the support sticks. This bed got watered for the first time this season then the ground was mulched, that was sometime after the photo was taken. The boxes inhibit rogue marauding chickens from traumatising young plants.

This clump of Garlic will be lifted tomorrow. The leaves are turning to straw.

There's a whole lot going on here.Tomatoes behind the boxes,Runner Beans ascending fast. Schallots, potatoes,Strawberries and Tree Onions. There will soon be a patch of self sown Kale seedlings. The flowers make good sense of the form. I just like the look...

Campanula

Sweet enough.
