"Up the Reds..."

Big harvest, the indoor crop is keeping Anne-Sophie really busy. .Possibly another four to six weeks more , the outdoor tomatoes are accelerating fast.  They will be mainly eaten fresh in salad,"Money Maker" type plants appearing all over the garden. Cherry tomatoes look like becoming a pernicious weed???We are learning many ways of preserving and conserving, the results so far are most encouraging.

Ketchup, Juice, our very own baked beans without the wasteful throw away tinned can. Pureé pizza topping.  Tomatoes freeze well and  may also be dried.
There'll be plenty of that going on soon enough.

Rendering down the fruit to make Tomato Ketchup.

Shelves filling up fast, We'd better make some more room , As the days get shorter the prospect of a long winter becomes more appetising.  Bottling beetroot next I reckon.
