Fingers out ...Beans in.

I recently bumped into an advertisment for Wi Fi ear plugs. Presented like jewelery. They looked like golden beans.  The song drifted into my head from way back in the day when as a kid my only source of music was an old Pennine Ranger valve radio.I would dare guess the beans will be popular.   I doubt very much that the down side of the audio distraction may have been noticed, potentialy. One fifth of the senses distracted from the reality of the present moment. Natural intelligence displaced by the editted highlights of someone elses pre recorded programming. The kids will probably need to navigate the streets with some kind of pedestrian iPhone GPS app. They are going to get the grumpy grown ups shouting at them more often. More convenient to users who put their fingers in their ears when mam or dad are sounding off. Who would want to hear parents good advice anyway? Fantastic in school. Teachers would never know you were wearing them. They may even prove useful when cheating in exams. The benign wisdom of righteous counselling overidden  by the little cyber devil whispering the in the ear. It is all going to end in tears I'll be bound.Know anything about, subliminal advertising, specific frequency programming, market manipulation or brainwashing??? If not you need to get informed.

Vaccine anyone??? Only one in ten chance of it not working.  What of long term side effects? Adds another little percentage to the risk factor. Maybe another one in ten. How may long term effects be assessed in such short order??? Could turn out to be another mutagenic disaster, remember thalidamide...  What about the interaction with other long term medications?  Distracted by media promotion, the Merry-Con way,  driven by fear folk may ignore the pressing needs of immediate serious long term illness  in favour of the new fashionable spurrious "risk prevention".

For years I have been trying to promote a route to healthy sustainable lives. Little noticed even by my own ofspring. I suspect there will be a whole generation to come that prefer having beans in their ears to being constantly forced to pull their fingers out... I. WAZIR
