Rising Heat, Blessed Rain...

The tail end of a hailstorm just passed over. No damage done, it left us with some moody colours. The view from the door, Thornless Blackberry. This one grows in a couple of inches of grit and compost. You can make much from a little.

Tomato seedling waiting for outside quarters, they'll need hardening off first, another week before transplanting.
Red Hazel  fills the corner splendidly, a rooted sucker from the neighbours plum tree got severed from the mother plant ,(that's it poking it's head above the nut tree). The plum bears good fruit, the hazel will help support heavily ladened fruiting branches that would normally break under weight. Both trees are thriving. We wont spoil it for them.
Tomarillo is losing patience, roll on Summer.
Chilli peppers and capsicums  window shopping for an adult outside life.
Getting it organised...

Up an' hat em!
"Everything keeps moving in a different direction. Nothing ever seems the same. I wish I knew what normal was. I'd bet there never was one. Then why gamble? I'll go with what I know". Smudge has thoughts.
