Dobri Dyen. Over thirty views from Russia this week... Welcome.
I can't help but wonder why anyone would dip into this scrappy notebook. Entertainment I guess. It is a joy to see your country emerging so positively from the darkest of times. I wish my guardians had left me longer in formal education, I started learning Russian in an experimental language lab back in the sixties. Most of those lessons sadly, are lost from memory now.
Without attempting to be unduly influential I hope my blog collection (items of personal interest to me), may be of assistance to those learning to be fluent in the many nuances of my language. I have become a fan of "Vlad the Explainer", he clarifies a lot of commonly held misconceptions about post "Cold War" Russia. Your president is a star.
I haven't a lot to say at present, I'll stop here, except to say "Thanks" for your interest.

20th October, 1951... So Far, So Good.
Tons of stuff I could say, typing is not saying. If you had a response worth hearing you'd have to be brave enough to deliver the message in person. On this the seventieth birthday celebration,a quietly joyous occasion, wishing you had been here. Let me be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year....I. Wazir

Sunday, a good yesterday to remember...
The Resurgence... The tramp with an amp returns to Plelan Le Grande, market. A cool sunny day;A lot of worried looks as masked faces trudged past what became an island of chatty sociable sunshining people. Happy i was my tunes could be heard way down the street... without complaint...Kids homed in to find where the sound was coming from. Some fantastic "freestyle" dancing, little uns knee high level. Some squatted down to gawp and listen. Shy kids , unsure, hid behind grown ups' legs gradually pushing parents closer. One gentleman made a present to me of a Baroque flute..One trader gave a melon. A girl gave me a Brioche from her parents bread stall across the street. It was good. I got to play some occarina boogie woogie for a guy who was learning at home. . I ended up divulging the secret of the one hole flute to him. He got it, I don't doubt he'll make one. His son seemed keen. I got to make jokes that some folk actually laughed at. Some of my tunes were heaven sent, I did my best not to spoil them. When the market closed coffee and convivial conversation in the terrasse with trader friends then home.
That morning had been spent at a "Troc Plante", an exchange "market". Scores of people with all manner of green foliage. Vegetable seeds and seedlings, Shrubs and hedging, herbs, flowers . Folk young and old. men and women boys and girls. No shortage of keen gardeners here. I found a ptretty spot under a walnut tree, finding some comfort in the fine log seat on the corner of a small green. A great place for my tootling flutings is that St. Thuriel. Here's hoping I get a chance to do it again. The town still has a smile on it's face. It heped to put a smile on mine.
Things to do today... Transplant some frisee lettuce, Continue digging the top circle . Unearth a neglected row of potatoes.Cut back and rationalise White currant bushes. Remove the non productive wood. Encourage fresh growth. What ever else takes my fancy. There is no camera, so there are no pictures.
Before I forget... "Ayup" one and all. Thanks for your time and attention.
HORROR ! On leaving the house to attend to my work a tractor driven sprayer has filled the air with aerosol fungicide or pesticide. It's not safe to engage in heavy manual aerobic work. The need for all living entities ...clean ,breathable non toxic , oxygenated air, What are the chances of that? I'll wait a while and let the poison settle....

W.H.O.... No one of any influence is going to read this, but it's food for thought.
The World Health Organisation, appears in my view, to have been hijacked. They are not called the World Health Authority, not yet at least. The way I was led to understand the function of the entity was that they were designed to be a data collection , a world wide bridge over all the red tape and political intrigue internationally. A repository or common pool accessible as a non partisan veritable information gathering service. Experimental research data, and collation of verifiable health statistics ,world wide. World Health Organisation imposes it's collective muscle as an "expert" over government administrations as though they were the spokes person for whole medical profession world wide. About time they read their job description. They are a QUANGO, quasi autonomous non governmental organisation. It was never intended to be an international power wielding deep state influencial. The demand for transparency in account of their intended service, (they are not doing what it says on the tin), is not met by front man Faucci's P.R. media presence. Transparency assured. He spread the jam too thin. He should have taken less bread. We see through him BUT... We see no further, by accident, design, neglect or default by unpreparedness for the perceived Black swan event. W.H.O. needs the wool pulling out of it's jumper, it's got too comfortable in exercising it's "manipulative baby" skills. They are not our trusted family Doctors, They are there to provide the data they collect to ethically principled medical experts and scientists as well as practicing family physicians and the taxpaying public, equitably, that means "fairly and equally", our right and need to Know. Health issues, cause and cure factors have been by W.H.O.'s self agrandising posturing on the world media, politically weaponised to aid tyranny to rule over practical common sense. Government , in order to retain power over the controllable misinformed masses prefer "crisis management" to disaster avoidance. Craft before Trade, if you please. Principle before profit. The W.H.O. is not there to broadcast contradictory obfuscating advice pertaining to the personal health issues of anyone let alone influencing to a state of complete confusion amongst which exploitative profiteers might hide, they were waiting in the wings knowing what was to come. Reference the London Olympic pageant for a degree of confirming evidence of a pre planned crisis.Part no doubt a bargain basement solution to keep the working masses desperately insecure and distracted from obstructing the Great Corporate Globalist Reset.. W.H.O. it should be noted for having acted as a bagman/cashier.Distributing funding without transparent account is an abuse of the intended function of the adminastrative entity. Since when were W.H.O. the arbiters of which research is deserving in their unelected judgement. Faucci remains in denial, but still raking in the loot from speaking engagements and media interviews.
Better out than in...you aren't compelled to agree. I. Wazir

Riding the ever changing weather... Regardless of urban opinion on climate.
Nooz from the Izdom of Iz...Adapting to the needs of our sustainable, life supporting amenity, our garden home. We have been leaning heavily on the tiller for a long time steering the vehicle of our small field towards the direction where both the people and diverse plant life are accommodated, in what I believe is an achievable State of Grace. We find ourselves permanently in "Study and Practice" mode. Constantly learning for service. The dividend on the invested work exsists in abundance beyond any need for protesting manifestation.
Today is a sunny blustery cool Autumnal day. Nature doesn't have a strict calender.
We are preparing for winter. Picking up walnuts today. Found a lot of space while hoeing weeds to transplant a load of leeks.. First harvest of round chillies. The first Butternut squash and a bunch of yellow Zucchini.. The Sunflower heads will be kept for the chickens, some kept back for fabric dye. There is a big row of "mongrel" Coco beans from Marie Therese's potager. The product of her random bean seed saving. A good mix. We are going to have to figure out what we can do with a glut of Turnips,(navet). We will store some for the stew pot, for as long as possible. Maybe the sheep would like a share. We will assuredly be giving a lot away. The rabbits will enjoy the left overs.
Our Brassicas are doing well. The shelter from the wind, afforded by the Runner Bean walls provides an ideal atmospheric, micro climate. Kale, Broccoli; Cabbage and Brussell Sprouts. All adapted to cool conditions. There will be more Beetroot for pickling soon. Another bin of apples to peel... Wow! October Grapes. Phew.... Plenty of other stuff to get on with when alls done. I'll take the secatures and the hedge clippers out on the off chance I get the urge to clip and prune. I've done with Typing for now...It's worse than talking....I. Wazir

Awaiting Due Process...
Aren't we all? In the meantime, ignoring draconian guesswork based regulation, we are sticking with the accumulated traditional common wisdom, that has carried mankind through millenia of natural adversity. The modern contribution may not displace or replace the effective life support mechanisms accrued through generations of rural living. Why throw good healthy homegrown habits away?

Jungle Mama checks her brood...
Dobri Dyen, Moy Droog... Ayup, the Russian One.
My token "Hello". I haven't got to know any Russian People. The closest I got to it was busking in France years ago. Stas was (?is),a good Celtic (Irish style) whistler. A lot of fuss seems to have been made in the Western world about the dangers posed by the "post Soviet" progress. For the record, I have never been a gullible believer. At the time of the "cold war" they started teaching me Russian. They were just starting to experiment with language labs. I enjoyed the lessons sadly now mostly forgotten. Taken out of school too early. My attitudes to the modern Liberalised Socialism post war were considered too rebellious back then, my guardians took little interest in my schooling. At seventeen they "sold me down the river" to serve at the rich man's table as a silver service waiter. I dropped out. Exploitative,"Lakeland Trust" scheme, a residential eighteen hour day on permanent call to affluent clientelle, all for five pounds a week. It wasn't a home I wanted to live in. I dropped out.I've been "out" ever since.Get in contact "Russian One", if you have the wit or the will, we are easily found. Honest amicable exchange over manipulative propaganda bullshit. We all benefit from learning to make friends, one at a time. It's been a long road since coming into my majority in sixty nine.I'm pushing seventy on an uphill climb. Working on the "Big Finale". It'll likely be years before I'm gone forever, but time is of the essence if anyone out there has notions of jamming together. You don't need a ticket.

Ayup Emma, Good Morning...Just wondering...
You'll see a lot of postings gleaned from the YouTube on the subject of narcissism. Heaven only knows if you take the time to listen, there has been little evidence so far of any healthy response to an alienated parent's distanced caring. That's for most of your lifetime, daughter. Graceless, charmless attitudes aappear to have been groomed nurtured and cultivated in your expression of personality and character, that now would give no benign service in your senior years. Being honest with yourself would have to come first. Then being honest and morally righteous with ,for and to others. One attitude copes with all without complications, practically and without moral compromise.
As we are the sum of our life's experience it may be worthwhile to allow the previous posting's message to penetrate the familial denial barrier. A small pill of nostalgic reflection. You may be curious as to how things came about that you should hate me so unaturally. If I had raanted on back in the day with the lessons that the post below tries to convey I doubt you would have kept your ears unblocked for long. You may need to discuss the points the doctors advice may cover. I hope you have a trustworthy long term other with whom you may talk. I saw a glimpse of a photo of you and a man. I didn't dwell on it. What might I learn about him or you, from a posed photo. If you are both commited to staying together he'd be welcome here, he's brave enough to get over any misinformation or personal shyness I hope. My offers of familial hospitality are not meant to be seen as a challenge.
Love's a strange beast of burden. It often carries pain amongst the pleasure, We may not seperate the two in favour of our own likings. If you have real friends out there (where ever that is), who may read this ,relating to the subject of which I allude, i.e. narcissism, I hope they prod you in the right direction.I will leave the destination up to you.. Reading a book "The Emotional Terrorist", by Erin Prizzy, (spelling ?), might be enlightening, Check it out.
You might like to give your dislike and contempt you have expressed for your brother an objective reappraisal. Perhaps there is more to it than I would care to know. Familial Love between the Three of you just isn't natural..None of you know the rules of the game the others are playing by. All three exclude each other. Three strategies three seperate games. Good Luck with that time waste anyway. I only play the flute, and on occasion I play the Fool.I sometimes think the three of you would sneak off to Canada, or that you have perhaps gone back to Abercrave. I haven't chased it up but the last news was of the back aching, Pinky Scrubbers variety. So how's all that going? I am not one for imagining too much, rather first hand real time encounter every time.Book now while Stocks Last.
Oh well, nuff sed for now.
Distant Love, Emma Grace...Dad.

Tractor man is creating a dust storm upwind of our little field...
Not the weather for what he's doing ideally, the surface is dehydrating fast. It means I wont be able to harvest more beans and Zuchinni until the tractorman finishes work. A cloud of mineral bearing what ever he has sprayed or powdered on the field since the wheat was cut, blow into the air every year. I can't believe they serve the long term interest of the land. They are closer to carpet baggers than cultivators. The Earth will only get poorer by their misguided ministrations.
Our region has seen major changes. It supported more life back in the day. Recent aeriel photos show the extent asset strippers have exploited the landscape. That little cluster of houses,(a "hamlet" the English would call it), low centre, is where we live. The east side of the village has periods every year when it's just a wind blown "desert". We are trying to aquire the land, how lucky we'll be is anyone's guess. We could then create a "Buffer Zone" of protection against airborne toxins, pathogenic pesticides and what not. A good ground plan, waits in the wings for a chance to manifest. Once the Juggernaught has passed...

What may we do to improve things. Buy the land back and set a better durable example.Encourage small holding homesteads. Bring vibrant families back to the Rural Quartier. Help to bring back the Earth to a dignified retirement from industrialised denatured service. The land is degrading fast. It needs your help. New skills need learning. Be part of the Agrarian Rennaissance, "La vie paysanne c'est permanent", it's the only way forward.

When the Taliban tell you...
To wear a mask , Take the jab, Lockdown in our homes. When they tell you to observe curfew on the street.. When the Taliban enforce regulation on schooling and intrude into our medical security. When dissadents may be beaten for opposing the administrative will that makes child vaccination mandatory. When the Taliban impose travel restrictions conditional on complying with the prejudices of the dominant authority. When the choice may be "Conform or Die." A person might be forgiven for bending the knee and tugging the forelock in submission. European and English speaking countries are imposing the same kind of bullying constraints upon it's own with little more than a critical whimper filtered through media reportage. The stretched out commentaries... everyone has their say but none the wiser. Governments are meant to reflect and represent the common will of the electorate. In a modern Democracy the voting public are the effective enablers overtly or covertly of all Administrative initiatives. Both blame and credit must be laid squarely at the feet of the voting electorate, whether they voted the winning team or not. Disasters are no respecters of party affiliation."Western culture" has failed it's self, by letting go of the reins of Due Process, naively trusting that we are electing the most virtuous, wise, knowledgeable and uncompromisingly honest individuals. "Leave it to them, they are the experts". You went on holiday too many times. ...You left it too late. You let your own nation's standard fall and ignored the need to pick it up. Thomas Paine warns of "placemen" in our institutions, There's no such thing as history. The Placemen hold the Standard now enjoying the rare powerplay. Of necessity we must push back the faceless resugence of the Liberal administrative entourage. A common higher moral standard for all ,Civilisation prevailing over exclusive societies. Resistance to the madness is strong here.I vowed I would die of natural causes. I am going to take my time about getting to the end..Maybe we should stop treating the gift of life as a sickness. Don't be afraid to live. And don't say "yes" when you mean "NO...!"

Nutters and Has Beans...
Tuesday, 24 August 2021
Bean there... Done that.
It's not all doom and gloom. This time of year, normal is a seasonal certainty. Pick, bottle freeze or dry. There's jam to make as well as pickles and chutneys. I'm gathering Hazel nuts before our trees get raided by sqirrels. 30 litres of green Hazels so far. 20 litres so far of Red Hazels, we should fill another bucket this evening when it's cooler. Spuds, carrots and peas in store. A few aching back's worth of beans to harvest. Onions and garlic are dry. Fig trees are promising a bumper crop. I still have a couple of hundred leeks to transplant.
Trying to get a "yeah, if he can do it so can we..." reaction. I may never see the results, that's not the reason a man plants a tree near the end of his life. Future generations will benefit, naturally from the work we initiate now. Permaculture garden habitat, sums up briefly what we are about on our little patch of mud. Garden is fast becoming the Ultimate University, if not the Whole Universe.
