These will be topped tailed and washed then bottled in salted water.
Relieving the plants of slow ripening small fruit enables the plant's energy to feed the larger. These half ripe specimens are aleady sweet enough, they just don't look ripe. They will be red within a couple of days.
A mysterious gourd,a kind of edible squash. I don't know the name. Boiled like potato it is no substitute. Very bland. May go better in pickles or chutney. We will keep the seed and find the best use for the crop.
