Sugar me Purple...

Several weeks of gradual harvesting,we take some to industrious neighbours who still know why kitchens were invented. The bulk of this batch will be marinaded in sugar overnight. The confection when cooked will be used to make fig rolls

I will be freezing some of the red interiors without the skins to add to the angel sponge cake.
And "Figgy pudding", there's a thought with which to conjure. We all want some, so I am told.Folk are determined not to go until they've had some, demands having been made that the "Figgy Pudding" in question must be brought outside . One must of course oversee and supervise fair distribution. We are cultivating the makings. Glad to assist . We have all caught ourselves singing the Christmas Carol. Who has ever tasted "Figgy Pudding"?
