Merry Weather...

Tempting, tasty... It shouldnt take long to pick a punnet. Not many "food inches" to travel. The Thornless Blackberry lives just outside the kitchen door.

Chicory flowers look pretty enough in the sunshine. They glow in the evening light. There will be a small colony of seedlings left behind when the mother plant is spent and removed.

A not quite upright image, (never mind). In the foreground, Squash , seeding Swiss Chard and Calendula (marigolds). The sticks support another wall of Beans, More marigolds to the right. Onions drying on the plank.

Return of the Jungle.

Newly planted celery, arranged in a block, protected from both Easterly and Westerly winds, reducing chill factor. The temporary "fence, encourages upright growth, i.e. longer celery sticks.
