Not the Usual Normal...

Red Filberts..

.
A kind of iris(?) or bog plant maybe, which for now will have to remain nameless

Almost sociable, the neighbour's poppies daring to get close. They are bound to set up home on our side of the Great Divide, they would be welcome.

Just outside the kitchen door...

The hazel trees are starting to hang heavy. This nut was getting lonely...

Walnut, good for food, good for wood, good for shade, as it should.

 Looking back..

Useful space going forward.

Facing South .

Facing West.

Facing East.

Facing North.

Thyme, Oregano, Curry and Lavender.

The white climbing bean flowers are slower growing than their cousins. Glad to see them. It is going to look splendid  when all four types of clmbers are in full bloom. The Scarlet Emperor is already setting embryonic pods.
